FIRST STEPS

Persons who are interested in commercial activities or the purchasing of properties on the Canary Islands, have to apply for a N.I.E. Number from the government. This application has to be done in a police department of Tenerife. The documents necessary for this are: 2 Photos, copy of the passport, the original passport. This application if free of charge.

You will get an authorized copy of your application. The certificate with the number will be ready within approx. 4 Weeks. A solicitors contract can be drawn up and finalized with the authorized copy of this application form.

It is also necessary to open an account at a Canarian bank, which takes a matter of a few minutes. We will administratively assist you with this. Forms for application are available at our office.
